Do not share passwords, online banking credentials, full payment-card information or other sensitive financial details with another user.
Be especially careful if someone asks you to send money directly outside the Platform. Requests involving bank transfers, cryptocurrency, gift cards, emergency payments, travel expenses, medical expenses or other financial assistance should be treated carefully.
A request for money does not automatically mean that someone is acting fraudulently, but you should never feel pressured to send money.

Use the Platform’s communication tools while you are getting to know someone. Where appropriate, video communication can help you communicate more directly before you decide whether you would like to meet in person.
Remember that verification confirms certain identity information but cannot guarantee another person’s feelings, intentions or future decisions.
If you decide to meet someone offline:
- choose a public place for the first meeting;
- tell a friend or family member where you are going;
- arrange your own transportation where possible;
- keep your passport, wallet, phone and other personal belongings with you;
- avoid giving another person control over your money or travel documents;
- do not feel obligated to change your plans if you are uncomfortable.
You are never required to continue communication, send money, order a gift, travel, meet someone or pursue a relationship.
The other person has the same right to make their own decisions.
