LOVE AS A TREATMENT — BUT NOT PRESCRIBED FOR EVERYONE
Every day we look for something real — in work, in people, in ourselves. I work as a doctor, and I know how often we try to dull the pain with pills, symptoms, and deeds. But there is one “therapy” that cannot be prescribed — love.
Love does not save from all diseases, but it can awaken in us the desire to be alive. It does not heal wounds like a bandage, but it teaches patience, trust, and faith that there is someone nearby who understands.
I still believe that I will meet a person with whom it will be simple. Not ideal, not cloudless, but — truly. Without games, without fear, without unnecessary words. With him, perhaps for the first time I will allow myself to be not only a doctor, but also a woman. The one who is waiting and who is also waited for.
