Tiny joys that make me feel alive
Sometimes, I truly feel like a child again. There’s something deeply comforting and magical about swinging on a swing — the way the wind touches my face, the rhythm of the motion, and the brief feeling that I’m flying. In those moments, it’s as if time pauses. I forget about bills, responsibilities, deadlines... and I simply am. Carefree, light, happy.
The same happens when someone gives me a small, cute gift — something soft, sweet, or silly. It might be tiny, but it brings an enormous smile to my face. It’s not about the gift itself, but about how it makes me feel. Like a little girl again — wide-eyed, curious, excited by the simplest thing.
In today’s world, where everything moves so fast and adulthood often feels so heavy, these innocent little joys are priceless. They are gentle reminders that deep down, that playful, dreaming girl is still there. All she needs is a swing, a soft toy, or just a moment of tenderness to wake up.
And maybe… that’s the magic we all secretly long for.
Do you ever feel like that too?
Or am I the only one still secretly chasing butterflies?
