Destroying Oneself for the Sake of Emotions
Sometimes you want to destroy yourself. Not physically, but internally—erasing boundaries, forgetting the rules, stopping thinking about the consequences.
Emotions require sacrifice. We're willing to endure anxiety, pain, disappointment—just to feel alive.
Love, passion, addiction—they all blend together. Sometimes it seems we're willing to sacrifice ourselves for a momentary spark, a momentary intimacy, a momentary feeling of being truly seen.
Scared? Of course. But fear is part of pleasure. Without it, emotions lose depth, become flat, artificial.
And here's the paradox: the more we destroy ourselves for the sake of emotions, the more intensely we feel life. Destruction isn't the end, it's the entrance to the most authentic feeling.
