Save the party. A community center or a nightclub in the center of Kyiv.
I organized a big get-together for all my friends. At first, the atmosphere was flat: the DJ was running late, the equipment was acting up, and the guests were huddled dejectedly in the corners. Realizing that I had to take matters into my own hands, I stepped up. I approached the sound guy—a cheerful fellow with a wild, messy hairstyle—and together we quickly adjusted the speakers; then, I was the first to dash onto the empty dance floor. My frenetic energy and signature moves instantly electrified the crowd.
Five minutes later, absolutely everyone was dancing, and that sound engineer played tracks "especially for me" all evening and couldn't take his eyes off me—presumably waiting for yet another new decision from me...
Well, I figured the main thing was just to get started, and the rest would take care of itself.
Do you think I was right?
