I think this story will shock not just me, but you too!

I think this story is real, because a friend of mine once found herself in an awkward situation on a date just like this...

"I went on a date with a man, and the next day I found... a private dossier on *myself* online."

The perfect match
We’re all used to the routine. And then—there he was. Handsome, smart, with a perfect profile—none of that usual sleaziness. We hit it off instantly: shared interests, subtle humor, and a feeling like we’d known each other forever.
So we decided not to wait around and just meet up!

And that was my mistake...

A week later, he invited me to a cozy, intimate restaurant downtown. The date was magical. He was gallant, listened to every word, and laughed at my jokes. As we said goodbye, he gently kissed me on the cheek and said, "You’re even better than I imagined." I laughed it off—thinking to myself that he certainly didn't lack confidence.

A Strange Discovery
The next day, on a whim, I decided to Google his full name—which I’d happened to notice in a table reservation notification.

I searched for his social media profiles, but the search engine returned a private forum instead. By a strange coincidence, one of the threads mentioned my full name and city.

I felt a chill run through me. I clicked on it.

A shock.
It turned out there was a private discussion thread where men... rated women from dating sites using a harsh scoring system. But that was only half the trouble.

The post contained my profile and photos from social media—including ones I’d kept private—followed by a detailed account of our date the previous day, written by him.

He dissected my every move: what I said, how I reacted to provocative questions, how many glasses of wine I drank, and at what point I started to get tipsy. He was analyzing me like a lab rat, discussing with strangers on a forum whether the "subject" was "suitable for phase two."

And at the very bottom was a comment from the man himself:

"Initial contact successful; triggers worked—she’s hooked. Taking her out of town tomorrow; let’s see how she behaves in isolation."

The Climax
My phone buzzed right in my hand. A message from him popped up:
"Hey, babe! I booked a lakeside cottage for this weekend—just the two of us, away from the hustle and bustle. I’ll be by to pick you up in an hour. Get ready :)"

Girls... I’m sitting by the window watching his silver crossover pull up to my building entrance, and I’m having a panic attack. I’m not answering his calls, but he’s texting: "I can see you in the window—come on down."

For the love of God, tell me what to do! Should I block him and call the police? Or run out the back exit? Has anyone dealt with a scam like this on dating sites? I’m terrified...

When I read this, I was in shock :(

To be honest, I didn't write anything because I don't know what advice to give—

I've never been in a situation like that...

Have you ever been in a situation like this? Do you have any ideas on what to do?
