my magic
- What are you doing?
“I practice magic.”
- Is this the type of influence on other people? Elemental management, necromancy?
“Not really.” Let me give you an example.
He fell silent, setting aside his coffee mug a little and stared into the void in front of him. And after a couple of minutes he continued:
- Look at the waitress, who is spinning in this room completely alone, rushing around, trying to manage to complete orders that come at the speed of a machine gun. She begins to get nervous, becomes careless, can drop a tray on someone.
But it’s worth literally just one person to smile sweetly when she did not bring food and drinks on time, to thank and say “do not worry.” All. On this her confusion may subside, she will relax, will not think that everything is lost and she does not have a damn time. She calms down and begins to behave in a similar way. It’s nice, friendly and cordial to meet customers, giving them kindness and cheerfulness.
And here comes another visitor, the head of the company, orders coffee and sits at a table. He is angry in the morning, because his wife cheated on him again, he overslept, and also - the end of the block, we have to make it all. And then she serves him, wrapping him with tenderness and affection of just a couple of words.
Then he sits and thinks, “But it’s not so bad, and the coffee is pleasant, the weather is good. And the view is beautiful from the window. " This man’s morning has already changed; in high spirits, leaving the cafe, she wishes her a good day, smiles back and goes to his office, where his subordinates are waiting for him, depending on his mood and a bunch of work that he’s ready to deal with easily and naturally .
At the entrance, by negligence, a cleaner cleans him with a mop, leaving a mark on fresh and clean trousers. She begins to apologize almost in tears and promise that she will take them to dry cleaning, that they can cut their salaries, because she is so clumsy. But he just smiles sweetly and answers "Worthless. It happens to everyone ”and spreads out in a smile. But he could have fired. And this cleaner barely makes ends meet, feeds and dresses her kids. She could lose her job and it would be very difficult for them. But no, nothing happened.
Because of the simple guy that smiled at the waitress ...
He falls silent again, finishes his coffee and calls the waitress. He throws a couple of amenities, smiles, wishes a good working day and begins to wrap himself in a coat. And I notice a smile lurking in the corners of the waitress's mouth.
And he looks at me and, also, spreading a smile, says to me:
- Here is my magic.
