For the first time in her life, she was not the same woman.
She always considered herself the kind of woman who simply walked into a room and all eyes immediately turned to her. She was accustomed to compliments, caught interested glances, and deep down, she was sure that you'd hardly find anyone sexier than her.
But one evening, everything changed.
In a small, cozy café, Dragica noticed two friends sitting at a nearby table. They weren't trying to attract attention at all—in fact, they were chatting calmly, laughing, and occasionally exchanging glances, as if they shared some special secret.
And yet, everyone kept glancing in their direction.
At first, Dragica merely grinned. "So what?" she thought. But the longer she watched, the more her expression changed.
One of her friends was incredibly self-assured: there was not a hint of fuss in her movements, and her slight smile made you involuntarily linger. The other possessed a completely different appeal—calm, mysterious, almost hypnotic. They were completely different, but next to each other they seemed even more striking.
Dragica began watching them more and more intently, unnoticed.
She noticed one whisper something in the other's ear, after which they both laughed. Then one of them caught Dragica's eye and looked straight at her for a moment.
Dragica blushed and turned away.
"Am I jealous?" the thought flashed through her mind for the first time in many years.
She looked at her friends again.
Now it seemed to her that it wasn't just their clothes, their looks, or their figures. There was something much stronger about them—freedom, confidence, and that mysterious allure that can't be learned in front of a mirror.
And then one of her friends suddenly raised her glass, as if she'd noticed Dragica and decided to invite her to join them.
Dragica froze.
For the first time in her life, she wasn't the woman everyone was looking at, but the one who couldn't look away.
And the most interesting part was yet to come...
