Let's celebrate THANKSGIVING together

Hi guys ! I would like to join Claude’s congratulations ! HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone and I am so glad that we can celebrate this holiday all together ! All people from different countries and nationalities can have wonderful chatting time here and congratulate each other with this great holiday, holiday that commemorated peace and prosperity for Americans and Canadians !
Of course, Thanksgiving has deep roots in religious tradition, but nowadays it is primarily celebrated as a secular holiday. Thanksgiving is a great time to be thankful and appreciate who you have and what you have. It is a time for families to meet, socialize and enjoy each other's company, sometimes the only opportunity in a year. Some prefer it to Christmas because of less emphasis on consumerism. Thanksgiving, for most, is also a start of a four day weekend which is great, too.
I am sure that in every country there is something similar to Thanksgiving holiday. In Ukraine , we don’t have the holiday like this, but that would be so nice if we had it . One more of the family holidays would be great. But when I find a man here for me my traditions will be united with the traditions of my man and we will have many family holidays ))) sounds great !
