Christmas at my home!

Hello my dear readers! I decided today to write about Christmas. Catholic Christmas will soon pass for most men, and after the New Year holidays and Orthodox Christmas. From the beginning, I wanted to write about how generally such holidays are celebrated in Russia, but I realized that all this is on the Internet. Therefore, I will tell you our family secrets and traditions. Please do not laugh, but support me!
So, we, as a family, celebrate Christmas with our grandmother. My grandmother is interesting, she always says on the phone that she will not cook anything, and she does not need guests. In general, in winter you need to sit at home, and not travel to guests. But, when we all come to her, she has a table set, as for a wedding of 100 people, and at the same time there is a decorated pine tree, lights are on, and my grandmother, shouting “guests have arrived,” asks, “Why are you standing, running for the table I hungry. "
Before we sit at the table, we almost from the threshold eat kutya. This is a dish of wheat grits, dried fruits, chocolates, which are poured with boil. Be sure, according to tradition, three spoons should be eaten, this is a blessing. And only after that, we sit down at the table. At a minimum, our family prepares 12 dishes for each apostle. But at the grandmother it is always 30 dishes, and all are incredibly satisfying. If you are a vegetarian, forget that day, you eat meat, and my grandmother is not interested in your preferences. After all, she had been preparing to meet for a whole week (my poor grandfather).
After we all ate, drank some wine and relaxed, grandmother abruptly recalls that she needs help before we leave. Therefore, as a friendly family, we clean the yard, the house, cut firewood, and others.
I can say so, my grandmother is the “Don Karlione” of our family, if she decided something, and it will be doing. The main thing for her is that everyone would come to the holiday with a good mood and hungry.
In general, the holiday in our large family is noisy, with gifts, songs, heart-to-heart talks and games. I wish everyone to celebrate this year's holiday with family or friends. And they rejoiced that the Lord blessed us, giving us such days of happiness.
